My Sketchbook Journal from Europe 1995

In the fall of 1995, just after I had graduated from Willamette University with an art degree, my best childhood friend and I spent two months travelling through western Europe by train. I kept a sketchbook journal of the experience, and it has become one of my most treasured and sentimental possessions (aside from my husband and children, of course).

Of course, the Spanish Steps were under repair in Rome, but this imposing figure caught my attention nonetheless.
